eBooks and translations
I really want the first chapter to be available as a free ebook in PDF, CBR/CBZ and Rich Text format. Future chapters can be given away, too. The key thing is to make sure that the downloads are as lightweight as possible. That's gonna be tricky.
I also want to provide a lot of information on translating Stargazer into other languages. I'll need to provide text files of the scripted dialogue, too.
Stargazer for CDisplay. You can download the freeware CDisplay program at http://cdisplay.software.informer.com/
Stargazer PDF. The free Adobe Reader program can be downloaded from http://get.adobe.com/reader/
CDisplay uses a type of archive file called ComicBook Reader Files to display comic pages (and other images) sequentially. It's incredibly light-weight and very intuitive to use. While CDisplay is probably the most accepted form of reading comics on a computer, there are others out there and Wikipedia has a good overview of most of them.
Calibre is a fantastic ebook program that can convert the above CBR/CBZ files into various formats suitable for ereaders like the Sony Reader.
